Union of Catholic Mothers - Mass july 2015

The Liverpool Archdiocese Union Of Catholic  Mothers held their  July bi-monthly Mass at St Richard’s Church.  The Mass was celebrated by the new Archdiocesan UCM chaplain Fr David Potter, Monsignor John Butchard  and our Parish Priest Fr Mike Thompson.
 
St Richards UCM Foundation is the newest Foundation in the Archdiocese we were founded in 2013.
 
At the Mass on 1st July the Mums of St Richards presented Fr Mike with an Apostolic Blessing from Pope Francis to celebrate the Silver Jubilee of his Ordination. They also presented a bouquet of flowers to the Archdiocesan President Angela Moore. Two new members were enrolled for St Richard’s and  new members were enrolled for St Anne’s Ormskirk
 
It was a beautiful warm sunny evening (the thunder and rain kept off till clearing up time).  After mass attended by about !50 ladies from all over the Archdiocese, tea, cakes and cold drinks were served in the Orchard in the  parishes brand new marquee.  
 
 
In June St Richard’s UCM joined with St Anne’s Ormskirk UCM in a coach to take them to Liverpool Cathedral for the Union of Catholic Mothers Annual Mass.
